#Monochrome printing how to
I will note though that I am still trying to figure out how to get my tablet connected to the printer, so that I don’t have to email my documents to myself to print them from my phone. I can print from my classroom and go retrieve my prints from the office without issue. I’ve always loved the convenience of being able to print directly from my phone with the click of a button - this printer works great at doing so. With my last printer, I would have to wait 5-10 minutes just to get a few copies made, but with this LaserJet the minutes have turned to mere seconds! It’s an absolute dream, as it doesn’t take too much of my time away from my classroom and students. On top of this, the speed at which the printer prints is remarkable. The toner cartridges that the LaserJet uses are a great alternative, that already seem to give me an abundance of prints with crisper quality, without immediately running “low” or drying out, as other printers ink cartridges have. Otherwise, no issues with the initial start-up! It was also critical that I found a printer which would not cost me loads on ink - especially given my past experiences with using printers that quickly have the ink dry up. Connecting to my wireless network was simple, although with our occasionally unstable network connection it did take a few tries to establish the initial connection.

Set-up was fairly seamless and easy-to-understand. As a teacher who is constantly printing worksheets, lesson plans and activity pages throughout the week, I needed a printer that was both quick and consistent. This was my first experience with a Laser Printer, as opposed to an Inkjet.
